The 3-Night Aurora Pass gives you three nights of aurora chasing for the price of two. No distance limits, a professional photographer on board, and up to 6 hours each night.
Some nights the Aurora hides behind clouds — that’s the nature of the Arctic. One night gives you one chance; three nights multiply your odds of clear skies, strong activity, and a truly unforgettable show. That’s exactly why we created the Aurora Pass.
Each night, we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna and set out to chase the Northern Lights. Our guides track the weather all day and drive as far as it takes to find clear skies — every night is a different route, a different landscape, and a new chance. When we find our spot, we light a campfire and enjoy warm drinks and Swedish cookies while the sky does its magic.
A professional photographer joins every tour to capture you under the lights and help you set up your own camera. All your photos are included at no extra cost — three nights of memories, delivered within days of your tour.
And your days? All yours. Explore Kiruna, visit the Icehotel or try a snowmobile adventure — and when night falls, we’ll be waiting to chase the Aurora again.

3 Day Northern Lights Pass - TOP ACTIVITY IN SWEDEN
This tour is not recommended for guests over 70 who have physical limitations. Please note that children under 15 years old are not permitted to join this tour.
If a booking does not comply with this policy, we reserve the right to deny participation without a refund.
It is common to walk in snow, icy and cold conditions during the tour. If you have any physical limitations please inform us before you book.
The tour is offered in English. However, we can organize private tours in English, Spanish, Catalan and Turkish.
Our tours include snowsuits. The snowsuits will be worn as an extra-layer on top of your winter clothes and will give you more protection from wind and snow. You should already be wearing suitable winter clothes as well as a winter jacket and waterproof boots.
We can not provide boots
We can not provide overalls for the kids.
To make our pickup service as smooth as possible, we ask all our guests to wait for us outside of the hotel at the designated pickup time, not inside the reception. We will not be able to contact you beforehand, and we will not be able to check inside the reception. We provide a 5-minute waiting period. However, if we cannot reach you, we will have to leave to respect the other guests’ pickup times.
Guests staying at Best Western Arctic Eden will be picked up in front of Arctic Thai, which is a restaurant located directly in front of the hotel, as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Guests staying at Elite Frost Hotel and Scandic will be picked up at the Kiruna Tourism Office (Malmvägen 9B) – just 200 meters walk as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Unfortunately pick-up/drop-off service is not available at Airbnb, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara or Reindeer Lodge. You’re more than welcome to meet us at any of our designated pick-up points.

- Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 15 days or less before the event
- Cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 30 days or less before the event
- Cancellation fee of 10% is charged if cancelled 365 days or less before the event
The Northern Lights are natural phenomena and there is no guarantee that we will see them, despite the most professional, experienced guides. Therefore, there is no refund or free tour if we don’t see the Northern Lights. Even when we find the best conditions, we might not see the lights on some nights.
The strength of the lights will also vary, as well as whether they dance in the sky. The lights in the sky are sometimes not as strong as in the pictures.
The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon that can be observed in both Abisko and Kiruna. The northern lights look similar in Abisko and Kiruna due to their close proximity and similar latitudes.
Abisko is known for its clear skies and low light pollution, making it an excellent location for viewing the Northern Lights. It also has a unique microclimate that tends to have less cloud cover than other areas in the region, which can increase your chances of seeing the aurora.
Kiruna is another popular location for aurora viewing, and it has a range of accommodation options and activities for visitors. While it can be more crowded than Abisko, it also has a wider range of services and amenities available.
Ultimately, both Abisko and Kiruna offer excellent opportunities for viewing the Northern Lights, and which one is “better” depends on your personal preferences and priorities.
